FAQ's

Sizing + Measurements

Vintage sizing is different than modern sizing, varying widely by era, brand, style, etc.

In order to ensure a proper fit, please refer to the measurements provided in each item description, rather than the tag size.

We recommend comparing product measurements to a similar garment you already own. If using your actual body measurements, remember to add an inch or two for a comfortable fit.

If you need help finding your fit, please reach out and we would be glad to assist!

HOW WE MEASURE

All measurements are taken in inches with the garment lying flat.

• Bust, waist and hip measurements are taken across and then doubled.

• If an item is stretchy, we give a measurement range, from relaxed to the garment comfortably stretched.

• When a measurement is listed as “free”, it means that the garment is roomy and will fit a range of sizes.

Chest/Bust: From one armpit to the other, then doubled.

Waist: Across the smallest point of the waist, then doubled.

Hips: Across the fullest part of the hips, usually 7-9 inches below the waist, then doubled.

Shoulder: From shoulder seam to shoulder seam.

Sleeve: From shoulder seam to sleeve cuff.

Length: From the top of the garment to the hem. For tops, usually taken from the back neckline/collar seam. For bottoms, taken from top of waist to hem along outer side.

Inseam: For shorts and pants, the entire length of the inner leg, from crotch seam to hem.

Rise: For pants, the waist to the crotch seam (front).

*Items may be pinned on mannequin to showcase ideal fit.

Conditon

We take care to accurately describe each item, highlighting any major flaws or damage in the description and photos.

Because these pieces are vintage and pre-owned, some normal signs of wear and age should be expected—such as loose seams, mild fading, pilling, or small stains.

Most of our items are cleaned or steamed before being sold. Some items, like very fragile or specialty fabrics, some leathers/furs/knits, collectible garments, etc. we like to leave the cleaning decisions up to you.

Please remember that our items are typically 20-100 years old and have lived previous lives. We can’t know all the details of their history. If you have sensitivities to potential past exposures—like pet dander, fragrances, or smoke—please keep this in mind when purchasing.

Again, we do our best to note any major flaws in descriptions and photos. Please review both carefully before placing your order.

Return Policy

We want you to be happy! Please reach out if you need help or have questions about an order you received.

All sales are final

Return requests are dealt with on a case-by-case basis, but in general - no returns, exchanges, or refunds.

If there is an issue with your order due to a mistake on our part, please email us within 48 hours of delivery and include photos of all packaging, and any related product photos. After 48 hours of delivery, all sales are final without exception.

Returns are only accepted if we’ve made an error, such as grossly misrepresenting a product by failing to disclose serious damage, providing inaccurate measurements (more than 3 inches off from listed measurements), or sending the wrong item.

Please be sure to read the item descriptions and review the measurements carefully before purchasing. We do not accept returns or offer refunds based on sizing issues.
